Saguisag says no need for PNoy to resign

MANILA – Former Senator Rene Saguisag believes there is no need for President Benigno Aquino III to resign.
Saguisag said the President’s term will end in just 492 days and “any change not in accord with Constitution will create more problems than solutions.”
He also believes the President did not in any way betray the spirit of EDSA during his term.
Saguisag said the Filipinos in 1986 are different from the Filipinos of today.
“Baka tayo din ang may kasalanan, ang tanong eh: ano magagawa ng bayan sa atin. Dati, ano ang magagawa ko sa bayan natin,” he said.
He said he also has doubts and questions on who will take over in the event of a resignation of Aquino.
He believes the Filipinos should just let the process of democracy flow instead of another unconstitutional overthrow of the country’s leader.
