They don\u2019t know enough peo\u00adple in the industry\u2013 espe\u00adcially the A-Listers. They don\u2019t know enough about where the mar\u00adket is going to be in five years. They don\u2019t know enough about what could pos\u00adsibly go wrong. They don\u2019t know where EVERY SINGLE LAST POSSIBLE LANDMINE is buried.<br \/>\nSo ins\u00adtead of get\u00adting on with it, they spend the next few years kee\u00adping their Nowhe\u00adres\u00advi\u00adlle day job, whilst spen\u00adding their eve\u00adnings sur\u00adfing the web, scou\u00adring the trade maga\u00adzi\u00adnes, researching everything like crazy, trying to get a tho\u00adrough, small-time Outsider\u2019s view about what the big-time Insi\u00adders are currently up to.<br \/>\nAnd then they often com\u00adpound this by also trying to get a handle on the even big\u00adger stuff. What will hap\u00adpen to the American\/Asian\/European\/Brazilian\/Whatever eco\u00adnomy in the next 2\/5\/10\/25\/Whatever years, and how will these BIG things affect their tiny, obs\u00adcure niche.<br \/>\nThey want to have ALL the ans\u00adwers, before ever ris\u00adking get\u00adting their feet wet. Hell, before even get\u00adting their little toe wet\u2026<br \/>\nAgreed, a wee bit of pru\u00addence and infor\u00admed cir\u00adcums\u00adpec\u00adtion are lovely vir\u00adtues to have, but over\u00addoing it can be ulti\u00adma\u00adtely unpro\u00adduc\u00adtive, for a variety of rea\u00adsons.
