Seconds Away
\nYour Lizard Brain is absolutely right when it tells you that most people won\u2019t notice if you don\u2019t make something, and that a lot of people won\u2019t particularly care if you do. But, how you choose to respond to that existential k\u014dan<\/a> will say a lot about your potential as both an artist and as an engaged human.
\nBecause, if you\u2019re relieved that universal apathy<\/a> provides legitimate cover for eight blissful hours of \u201cmanaging email,\u201d then you\u2019re in luck. Every day for the rest of your life. Punch out.
\nBut, if you\u2019re like me, you may find you\u2019re invigorated\u2014even challenged\u2014by all that bigger ambiguity. By knowing that, at any time, you might be seconds away from starting something amazing that seemed impossible a minute ago. Even oddly prepared to drop the lizard crap whenever the need arises.<\/strong>
\nWeird to think how insanely different your day could be today. Purely depending on what you do in the next 10 or 15 seconds. If that switch gets flipped in the right direction, then stays there.
\nWhat can you tolerate? What will you start? Now.
