It was originally made from the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Military of the United States\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Military_of_the_United_States\">US military<\/a> jeeps that were left to the Filipinos after <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"World War II\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/World_War_II\">World War II<\/a>, giving it the powerful engine of an army jeep.  Due to Filipino ingenuity, the body was remodeled by adding some metal roofs and decorating it with vibrant colors.  It has rapidly emerged as a creative and popular means of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Public transport\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Public_transport\">public transportation<\/a>.<br \/>\nTo allow the travelers to enjoy a more comfortable ride, we custom-made a luxurious 20-seater <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Jeepney\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jeepney\">jeepney<\/a> equipped with <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Air conditioner\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Air_conditioner\">air conditioner<\/a>, cooler and a tour facilitator.
